I made the work 'Dorada' for the all white exhibition De schone inval during the Boulevard Festival in Den Bosch.
The phrases which make up the work appeared slowly one after the other in a Powerpoint presentation which was projected onto a white wall for the duration of the exhibition. With this work I resisted the urge to conform the typical festival visitor’s expectation of being overwhelmed. The text addresses the viewer directly and, despite the minimalistic nature of the work, it does leave a trace on the visitor’s retina.
